A series of bronze lost-wax casts, made during my Asylum Studios residency.

 

I collected organic matter (conkers, vine tendrils, oak galls) and stuck them together into impossible mutant forms with wax. At the same time, I also sculpted some quick, blind figures out of wax. These were all invested in plaster, burnt away and cast in bronze.

They were exhibited as part of my solo show An Accumulation of Being in March 2023.
